DEMO VERSIONS (MS DOS)

Below are Demo versions of some of the MS DOS Revelation packages for you to download onto your PC. Both Demo packages are fully functional, but can only be run a limited number of times for evaluation purposes.

 

Instructions for Downloading Revelation for DOS Demos

 

A good idea may be to print out this page and then work through it while performing the download.
  • On the "Demo Versions" page of the Revelation Website, click on the program to download (under the heading "Download files") eg: DemoPro.exe

  • In the Window that opens, select the option to "Save this program to Disk" and left-click "Ok".

  • In the "Save As" window that pops up, locate and select the C:\Windows\Temp folder (directory). Or, you can type into the "Filename" field: c:\windows\temp\ followed by the name of the download program (eg: c:\windows\temp\updpro.exe).

  • After the selected program is downloaded, disconnect from the Internet and exit out of your Browser back to the Windows Desktop.

  • Right-click the "Start" button and left-click the "Explore" option to run Windows Explorer.

  • In the left-hand Explorer window, locate and left-click the C:\Windows\Temp folder (directory). The contents of this folder will be displayed in the right-hand Explorer window. You should find the Revelation program you downloaded there. Double-click on it with the left-button to run it.

  • A Dos window will open displaying the progress as the downloaded program unpacks itself (2 or 3 program names will be displayed each trailing a row of dots as they are unpacked). One of the unpacked programs should be INSTALL.EXE.

  • When the unpacking process is completed, click with the left button on the [X] at the top-right of the Dos window to close it.

  • You will now be back in the Windows Explorer program once again displaying the contents of the c:\windows\temp folder.

  • Locate the unpacked INSTALL.EXE program and double-click on it with the left-button to run it.

  • Follow the displayed instructions to install the Demo version of the selected Revelation program.
