How to Download and Install an Addon Module
In order to make the Downloading and Installation of the Listed Addon Modules Simple, we have opted to include the download engine inside the actual Revelation Package. Please note: The installation procedure requires a ACTIVE Internet Connection

Step 1
First Download and install one of the Main Revelation packages from this website. See: the [Demo's] tab on this webpage.
Once Revelation has been installed, either create your own new Company OR load the Demo Company [77].

Step 2
Once the Revelation Package has been installed, Look for and click on the [Add-ons] tab on the TOP toolbar of Revelation.



Now click on the [Install an AddOn module] tab:



This will take you to our On-line Add-ons List. Simply select the Required Addon from the List.

00 - Touch Screen POS Module

This powerful Built-in module, allows most Revelation Packages to be turned into a Cash Register. With features such as a Built-in Credit card switch, it is easy to handle large Point-of-Sales environments such as Supermarkets and Hardware stores. 

On-the-fly manufacturing allows accurate stock control in fast-food environments and coffee shops. Our built-in Liquor Store module makes handling of Crates, Six-packs and singles a breeze. Our live stock take feature allows for stock take to take place whilst the store continues to function normally. 




Touch Screen POS Module

The First POS option is our NEW touch screen version of the POS software. This system allows you to call up and sell stock items either by a Barcode Scanner, the normal dropdown Stock search or you may access stock and stock categories through the "PLU Lookup" button (Mouse or Touch Screen). 

To switch on this FREE option:


Go to each Users "Terminal Settings". Look for Point-of-Sales. Under "Use a POS module instead of Invoice module", you may select your required POS module. 

You may add your own pictures to the selection screen, as well as scroll between the different stock item and stock category pages. The user may exclude items that should not be part of the POS item range, as well as sell items that need to be created "on-the-fly". This is where the user does not carry stock until the item is sold. A good example of this is the fast food industry. The hamburger is only made as and when it is sold. Users may also buy on account.

The PLU Lookup Screen:


When the tender screen appears, you may select to convert the sales to a Debtor Sale instead. The built-in Credit /Debit Card machine will also allow virtual Airtime sales. This means you only buy the airtime as you sell.

Convenience Store POS Module

The Convenience store POS allows the user to setup his own stock categories. As with the Touch screen Module, you may add a PLU Picture selection screen. No discount or accounts are allowed on this POS Module, giving you full control of sales and pricing.

01 - Assets Manager

This Module Keeps track of Book and Tax Depreciation and allows for new and Existing Assets. Simply place all existing Assets on a Spreadsheet and import them in one go! You may send your insurance company real-time up to date values of assets as well as control Insurance claims and Warrantee Periods.

You may also use the standard features in Revelation to place a Purchase Order for an asset, GRN the Asset and Sell Assets.

Revelation allows you to either do Depreciation Manually, Monthly with Month-end or Yearly at Year-end. We also offer a stand-alone Asset Manager for Auditors.

02 - SMS Manager

The SMS Manager allows you to send SMS messages to your clients. This may be either accounts specific (Outstanding Balances ect.), specials, ‘work in progress’ completion reports as well as any other information that you need to relay to your accounting database.

As an added option, we also included a Email engine that allows you to communicate Mass Mails (Such as Specials and News Letters). This mass mail picks up all the required information from the Clients account.

03 - Workshop Manager for Windows

This add-on module has been designed for service and manufacturing companies that use a job card system to track and control work-in-progress. Job cards can stay open until the job is completed and may be amended at any time. Once completed, a Job may be invoiced out. If required, an additional Module will also allow Partial Invoicing of the open Job. The Job can then stay open indefinitely. This feature can be used by Auditors, Lawyers and Project Managers to control rolling accounts and Jobs. 

Also, Up to 9 user definable fields may be added to Job Cards that are application specific. For example, in a vehicle service station, the fields could be labelled "Make", "Model", "Year", "Odometer", etc. Job Quotes can be produced and then converted into Job Cards. Job "Templates" may be created for standard jobs which can be imported into job cards thus avoiding repetitive entry of the same data. Serial numbers of items being serviced can be tracked for guarantee purposes, employee hours worked. 

The Workshop Manager operates as an integrated Add-on module for the Achiever, Small Business and Enterprise Editions of Revelation and all Job Cards it produces automatically update stock levels customer accounts and the general ledger in the accounting section. The Workshop Manager includes Manufacturing Job Cards that allow you to control the manufacturing of stock items on Job Cards. It also caters for Purchase Orders and Goods Receiving that can be linked to specific Service Job Cards.

It's here at last! A simple, yet comprehensive package designed for companies that use a "Job Card" system. No more lost Job Cards or huge filing cabinets! All Job Cards are held indefinitely in the computer and may be accessed anytime at the touch of a button using the Job number, Client Name or the Serial Number of the serviced item. Another quality product from the Revelation Accounting team.

The Revelation Workshop Manager is a computerised system designed for service or manufacturing companies which use a "Job Card" system to control work in progress. Job Cards are held indefinitely in the computer and may be amended and added to as a Job proceeds. A Job Card listing a breakdown of Parts, Outwork (Buyouts) and Labour may be printed at any time (as often as required). Once completed, a Job may be Invoiced out.

The Workshop Manager includes a Manufacturing Job Card facility that allows you to manufacture stock items for resale from other component stock items in your stock file.

The Workshop Manager is supplied as an optional add-on module to one of the Revelation Pro for Windows (Enterprise, Small Business or Achiever) systems. Together, they provide a complete accounting solution with all the necessary controls to ensure a healthy and profitable business.

Here are some highlights of the Revelation Workshop Manager for Windows:

  • All Work-in Progress and Completed Jobs are held on file indefinitely. This allows analysis of Jobs in categories such as Job types, a Date Range, etc.
  • To speed up the entry of Job Cards into the computer, standard jobs with all the associated Parts, Labour, etc. can be stored in a Job "template" file. From there, the "template" can be imported directly into a Job Card.
  • Quotes may be issued to prospective customers listing full details of the potential Job. A Quote is held on file until it is accepted by the client whereupon it may be "converted" to a Job Card without having to re-enter it. There is also a Quote "template" file for commonly issued Quotes (Pro).
  • Up to 9 custom fields on Job Cards that you can label according to your type of business (a Service station could use MODEL, MAKE, YEAR, ODO, etc).
  • Job Cards can be up to 999 lines long and remain open indefinitely.
  • For Guarantee purposes, a Serial Number may be linked to the item being serviced or the items being supplied which is held on file indefinitely to establish the validity of future guarantee claims.
  • Up to 26 Labour Hourly Rates and up to 999 Employees are catered for. Any number of employees may work on a Job and full details of hours worked (@ Cost & Selling prices) for a specified period are available.
  • The Manufacturing Job Card option allows you to manufacture stock items with Serial Numbers (when linked to the Enterprise version of Revelation).

Add-ons

  • Job Scheduler - This option allows you to handle Manufacturing Jobs in stages. One person may initiate the Job via a quote and then move it on to the next stage where the job is opened. Lastly the Parts Department will issue stock in order to complete the Job Schedule
  • Job Quotes - This option allows the user to Plan and Price a Manufacturing Job. This Quote is then saved and can then be turned into a Job Schedule or a Normal Manufacturing Job.
  • Part Billing - This Option allows the user to book stock to a Job and then only Invoice Part of the items on the Job Card. This is great for Contracts and other specialized environments like Auditors, Lawyers and such.

04 - Auditor's Module

As an added service to you, we have decided to give a Revelation Package to each of our Revelation Client’s Auditors. We have also added a special Auditors Feature that allows you so upload data to your Auditor whenever you need. Once the Data has been uploaded to our FTP Server, your auditor will be notified via an e-mail that the data is available. They will now download the data onto their PC.





The Auditor may now post journals, pay VAT, Edit and even add accounts. Once this has been completed, simply hit the upload button. You will be alerted via e-mail that an upload is available. An Audit journal will now import the changes onto your system. Please alert your Auditor or accountant about this feature. They may contact us at any time to receive this offer.





05 - Online Webshop

Revelation Accounting Software is proud to introduce one of the most dynamic features ever introduced into an "off-the-shelf" accounting package. The Online Shop Manager (or Ordering System) allows the Revelation user to setup and maintain an online shop from within Revelation, without the need for highly trained professionals or for huge monthly development fees. For under R 500.00 per month, you may now enjoy the functionality of a professional product, without the usual hassles that accompany such an essential business tool. Your clients will have easy online access to your product list, check pricing as well as place online orders with a simple click of a button.


This simple to use tool utilizes one of nine standard Templates, which you first download and then customise to suite your shop. You will be able to select which stock and Categories should be uploaded to the shop, as well as create Sub-Categories from within the Revelation stock file. You may then maintain stock pricing from within Revelation. Simply upload the new pricing to the shop whenever pricing changes.

Your clients could also use the online System as a quoting mechanism, thus freeing your staff and phone lines for more important duties. The orders placed online would then be downloaded straight into Revelation as a standard Sales Order that is linked onto the clients account. You are also able to send e-mails and "Mailshots" to Clients, by making use of the built in e-mail engine provided. New prospective clients are also able to request accounts online.

Please take note that the online shop does not have a payment system as yet, (we are still busy with development, but please watch this space, it will be available soon). 06 - Foreign Currency Reporting Module
The Forex Manager Module allows you to Translate and view your Trial Balance in any Currency that you require. If the Forex Manager is switched on, you will also be able to use the Forex Banking module that will allow you to control your overseas bank accounts within the current Revelation Company. Once this module has been installed, simply add a new Bank account. You will now be prompted for the currency that this account will be trading in. You may then also re-Valuate your Forex Accounts in order to post your Forex Gains and Losses.

08 - Stationery Module for Inovocom Clients

An Integrated Inovocom Stock Manager. This module maintains the stock data and prices from the Inovocom's online SQL database.

The Inovocom Team have full-time staff that check and update this database. The users that are part of the Inovocom Group have access to this online database through the Revelation Module. This module will then update your Revelation LIST PRICE and Markup.  You may then in turn update your Selling Prices using the updated List Prices.



The system will then Export the Revelation Prices to your companies ONLINE store that is also maintained by Inovocom. 09 - Phone App Manager for Android

This application can be installed on any Android Phone, Tablet or other device. It ships with a Add-on Module inside Revelation where each users rights may be set up according to their needs.

10 - Warrantee Swopout Manager

When clients return faulty stock, usually the item is Credited and then a new Invoice has to be issued for the new item. This causes the client to receive a new warranted period on the new item. The warrentee Swop out Manager allows you to swop out the faulty item within the existing invoice without allowing a extended warrantee period

11 - POD Manager

In today's busy transactional environment, it has become imperative that each transaction can be verified. It is also impotent to immunize paper work. The latest buzz word it a Paperless society. 14 - Remote Invoice Export Manager

In today’s modern world, it is difficult to comprehend that connectivity is still a huge issue in some parts of the World and indeed in our own Country. This is however a reality that many Businesses have to face. In Order to accommodate Remote Businesses to be able to connect back to their Head Office in areas where no or Limited connectivity is available, Revelation has developed this Stand Alone Solution that will overcome the connectivity issues.

This module will allow you to Invoice, Quote, Place Sales Orders and Receive Payment at the Remote site. When convenient, you may sent the data to back Head Office via an Email or an FTP Connection. If you are use Warehousing, the stock movement will be effected per Warehouse at Head Office level.

This Module is intended to be used in Conjunction with the Remote Invoice Import Manager that should be installed at Head Office.

Head Office can then use the [Remote Invoice Import Manager] to first Import the Remote site data and in turn, return a file that will update the client records on the Remote site, such as Credit Limits and Account Details. This upload will also update the Balances of the client's accounts.

 In Order for this system to Work, you will have to Purchase and install a Stand Alone Revelation Package for Each remote site. This may be any of our package range of products and can be any amount of users (You may for instance have a 14 User Enterprise at the Remote site and a 1 User Enterprise at Head Office). You will then have to download and install the Remote Export Manager on ANY of the Terminals that you would like to use as the Export PC.

On the Export of the Data, Revelation will assign a unique 2 character Branch Code for all of the information being exported, in order to allow for these transactions to be identified as new transactions at Head Office. The system will also place a marker at the beginning and at the end of the Export range, in order to stop duplications. So only the new information will be exported and imported every time.

15 - Remote Invoice Import Module

In Order for this system to Work, you will have to Purchase and install a Stand Alone Revelation Package for Each remote site. This may be any of our package range of products and can be any amount of users (You may for instance have a 14 User Enterprise at the Remote site and a 1 User Enterprise at Head Office). You will then have to download and install the Remote Export Manager on ANY of the Terminals that you would like to use as the Export PC.

Once the Branch Imports the Latest Information from Head Office, all the existing information at Branch Level will be replaced by the Head Office Information, so it is imperative that you make sure that you have first exported the data to Head Office and made a backup (especially in the initial period) before importing the Head Office Information

16 - Warehousing & Multi Warehousing Invoice Manager

With up to 19 Warehouses available, stock may be kept in different locations on the same premises or in branches that are linked via a centralised Server. The system further allows for Branch Quote and Branch Orders to be placed. In some environments, it has become necessary to invoice Stock from Multiple Warehouses onto a single invoice. This may be where stock is kept in a Bulk store or where their is a Stock Yard.

The system will then give you an option to select the store on each stock line item. Once the invoice is completed, a back ground Intern Branch transfer is then done.

Warehousing – "Warehousing may be switched on in the System Preferences section as a DEMO" This is ONLY for Enterprise & Empire. In Empire, warehousing is a FREE add-on and does not have to be bought and registered. Pricing for Enterprise is as follow:

























With up to 9 Warehouses available in Enterprise and 19 Warehouses in Empire Builder, stock may be kept in different locations on the same premises or in branches that are linked via a centralised Server. The system further allows for Branch Quote and Branch Orders to be placed. If Workshop Manager is active, you may open jobs for each Warehouse.

This module also allows for stock to be invoiced from multiple warehouses on the same invoice by selecting out of which warehouse the line item should be invoiced.

17 - Part Billing for WORKSHOP MANAGER

Workshop Manager Add-on that allows you to partially invoice parts of a Service Job card (leaving the Job Card open). This is very handy when dealing with long term project and other long term jobs. You may for instance decide to Invoice the client at each month-end. You will then select the line on the Job card that needs to be invoiced.

A good example would be where an Auditor opens a Job Card for each of it's Clients. During the Month, as work is done, new entries will be made to the clients account. On Month end, the work for that month will be invoices without closing current work still in progress.

18 - Glass & Aluminium Module
This module allows you to Purchase and Sell Glass & Aluminum per square meter or per sheet. 

If a client requires you to cut glass (or any other sheet based product, like sheet metal) from a sheet, you will be prompted for the Sizes as well as if the Cut Sheets were cut from Off-cuts or from a full sheet. If a Full sheet is used, the full sheet is then removed from stock and moved to the Off-cut stock (which is a Service Item - no Stock holding).  In addition, the system will prompt you for the amount if off-cuts that remains. You may not know the size of the off-cuts left, but you will know the Quantity,

The Invoice is then also printed as a Square meter price with the amount of Pieces invoiced.  This module also has a unique Purchase Order and PRO FORMA Module.

19 - Bulk Purchase Order Manager

One of the options in Revelation is the ability to place Purchase Orders. By default, Revelation allows the user to create an Auto-Order per Supplier. This allows you to use the stock codes Min & Max levels, Lead times and existing Orders to assist in the Auto Orders calculation. The Purchase Order is then populated in order for the user to manipulate the Order until complete.  The downside of this system is that you have to place an order for each Supplier.

The Bulk Purchase Order allow the user to place a Mass Order on all it's items based on the same criteria as the Auto Order, but into a Single Order page. In addition, the stock item now displays the default Supplier next to the item. This may then be changed to suite the order as needed. Once done, a Quote request can be sent to each Supplier or to a selected Supplier. Once the reply is received, the Bulk Order may be amended until completed for auctioning.

Once the Bulk Order is ready, you may now convert the Bulk Order into Multiple Orders per Supplier. The Purchase Order is now handled as a standard Purchase Order.

20 - BackOrder Notification Manager

When clients place Back Orders for items that you do not have in stock, it is usually a mission to inform the clients that their stock has arrived. With the Back Order Notification Manager, you may print regular reports to establish which items can be supplied.

You may then use the Back Order Notification Manager to either send and SMS or an eMail to the client to inform them that their stock has arrive and that they may collect from you. As an additional option, you may monitor the SMS Replies from your clients as well as User the Email option to send your clients Bulk Mail such as specials and News Letters.

You may also use the SMS engine to send messages to your clients. This is a great option for any business using stock.

Job Scheduler - If your company uses our Workshop Manger's Manufacturing Option to Manufacture Stock you may now Schedule test Manufacturing Jobs. This option allows you to handle Manufacturing Jobs in stages. One person may initiate the Job via a quote and then move it on to the next stage where the job is opened. Lastly the Parts Department will issue stock in order to complete the Job Schedule. This option is ideal for medium to large manufacturing sites.

22 - Loyalty Rewards Manager

24 - Android Stocktake Module

If you already have the Android Phone app on your Android Device and if your company deals in stock, this module is a no-brainier.  This module allows you to walk around in your store and perform live stock-takes. You may set the system to either update the live stock Quantity (Stock Adjustment) or to update the Stock-take Module. After reading the items bar-code or calling up the item, you are prompted to enter the Quantity counted. Once entered, you will be asked if the system should [Replace] or [Add] the stock to the existing count.This makes Revelation one of the only Accounting Software Packages that allow for a live stock-take. You may also purchase and additional Bluetooth scanner for your android device. Although some units may be costly, it really streamlines the stock-take procedure.


25 - Trade-in Module

If your company deals with Trade-in items, such as 2nd hand Vehicles, this module will allow you to Trade-in the item on the same Invoice as what the new Item is booked out to the Client. While invoicing the new Item, you will be prompted for a Stock Code of the Traded item. Revelation will then create this stock code "On-the-Fly". The Traded item will then appear as a "Discount" or "reduction on the Invoice. The client will then only be liable for the balance of the Invoice. The system will also provide a special "Trade-in" Stock Report to monitor the traded items. The traded items then become part of your nornal stock holding that can be traded as per normal.

26 - External Stock Database Manager

This module was originally written for a very large consortium that sells Agricultural machinery with more than 800 000 possible spare part available. To import and maintain all of the possible stock codes would have meant that the Trading Stock Database would have become cluttered and reports would become unnecessarily long.

One of the biggest challenges in any database is to not clutter it with unnecessary data. The External Database Manager allows you to search for and access additional Stock data through a secondary Stock Database that is not yet part of your trading stock. When a client needs pricing on these Non-Trade items, you may access the additional stock Database to search for and Query additional stock in order to quote your client. Once the clients accepts the quote, you may add the external stock to your trading stock by a click of a button.

This module may either be hosted on the local Server as an Additional Database, or you may host the External Data on a FTP site that can be accessed by any number of terminals from various sites that have access to the FTP site. This Module allows you to update and maintain the external Database from an Excel Spreadsheet. Simply request regular updates from your Supplier and then import the data in order to maintain the latest information on the External Stock.

30 - National Stock Distribution Module
This module allows a Factory or National Distribution Facilities to use any of their National Clients as Distribution Points for Head Office Clients. When the Head Office Client draws Stock from the National clients, the National client will automatically be Credited for the stock drawn. At Head Office, a Credit Note will be issued for the stock drawn and the National Client will be Invoiced Automatically.

The participating National Clients will then receive a handling fee as a percentage of the transaction. This module was originally developed for a Paint Distributor that also had a Client that Painted Roads Nationally. It was easier to draw Paint from National Clients than to send a special delivery to the Road Paint Company.

This module relies on the fact that both the National Client and Head Office uses of the same stockcodes.

31 - Auto-Branch Stock Transfer Manager
If you use a secondary Company to sell stock to a select client basic, but use the stock holdings from your main Company, or If you sell stock from a Branch that does not keep it's own Stock Holdings on record, you may set this Company or Branch up to Sell it's Stock into Negative. Once every so often, you can then simply click a button and all the negative stock will be transferred back to Zero from the Main Company's Stock Records.

This is a Great tool if you are running projects where you do not want to mix your regular operational data with Special Projects Data.
